Over the past 4 to 6 weeks we have experienced excessive delays with Truck turnaround times at Hutchison Ports Brisbane.  The main reason for these delays are:

• Excessively long wait times – We are regularly experiencing 2-4hrs wait per Truck;
• Time Slots cancelled with minimal notice from Hutchison Terminal (resulting in entire delivery programs to be re-worked); and
• Vehicles regularly turned away (Due to – Terminal Equipment break downs, Operational issues etc.)

ACA have been in daily consultation with our trucking companies and Hutchison Terminal over this period.  Unfortunately, Hutchison are yet to offer a solution to these continuing delays.  We will continue to endeavour to minimise the effect this has on delivery performance and truck waiting time charges.
